  • Who Is Eligible to Apply
    • Must be an 8th grade student at St. Jane's who plans to attend a parochial High School in the Allentown Diocese during the 2025-2026 School Year.
    • Must be an active St. Jane parishioner who is in Good Standing (i.e., attending Mass regularly)
    • Must be a St. Jane CYO participant in sports or activities such as Academic Bowl, Declamation, Geography Bee. 
    • Must be a student who has maintained a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 85% or better in core classes (See Application for specific details) and is in good standing with St. Jane School.

  • Requirements
    • Submit a well written, grammatically correct essay in response to a pre-determined question
      provided by the CYO Board. The essay must be typed, double spaced and three (3) paragraphs in
      length with a minimum of 300-500 words (no penalty for going over the word count).
    • Submit 2 letters of recommendation; one CYO coach or moderator, and one personal reference (not from a family member)
    • Community Involvement – Submit documentation showing involvement in local community
      groups. Please note the focus will be on the diversity of community service efforts and not on
      dates/hours.
